Held on the traditional lands of the Biripi people 4 hours from Sydney & 1.5 from Newcastle, Old Bar Beach Festival is the regions most renowned event celebrating sun, sounds and the iconic VW kombi van.
The event began in 2005 and has grown to attract people from all around the world. Its extensive program encourages a diverse crowd, including kombi lovers, motor enthusiasts, families, music fans, foodies, adventure seekers, holidayers and art supporters. The highlight of the weekend is the kombi display, presenting Australia's largest display of VWs.
OBBF is a not-for-profit community organisation driven by our love for Old Bar and the people within. We aim to continue to deliver an accessible event for everyone for years to come.
